Siem Reap: Siem Reap’s Angkor Hospital for Children, AHC, is asking for help to buy Covid-19 Rapid Test Kits after recording their first Covid-19 case. The information was announced by the non-profit pediatric hospital on its Facebook page on Friday afternoon. It wants donors to help not only staff but also parents and children who went to the facility this week.
It posted the following urgent message: “Lack of Covid-19 rapid tests for patients, their families who come to Angkor Hospital for Children, and PPE for medical staff, and room equipped with adequate supplies for Covid-19 patients are the most urgent concerns right now.”
The hospital’s management says that with just $10 or more, it can provide a rapid test to one patient and a full set of PPE to medical staff. They are worrying about the safety of their patients and their families as well as the hospital staff and the entire surrounding community.
